Florasol Residence Hotel - Dorisol Hotels - Funchal (Madeira)

This place suits me perfectly! I enjoy the rooftop pool, complimentary wi-fi, and 24-hour reception. The staff helped me find great places during my first stay. I recommend trying the massage services. I'm coming back for Christmas!

The kitchenette is fully equipped with all essentials. rooms very warm without air conditioning.

It was excellent. We had a big apartment for three people. There was a nice bedroom for two people, a pleasant living room in which an extra bed was put (normally it is a living room), good kitchen and bathroom, and the most important two terraces. The price is inexpensive. Dinner at the restaurant is also exquisite. We liked this hotel very much.

I was very positively suprised to have an appartment with two rooms and a kitchen. Both rooms had balcony with beautifull view for the sea.For me it was more much than a 3 star hotel. Great location- plenty of shopss/restaurants around. Shuttle bus to centre very helpfull. Very friendly and polite staff at the reception.

Bathroom would need some renovation. Very limited vegetables for breakfast.

Amazing views and friendly vibes

The staff were super chill and helpful, always up for a chat. The sea views from our balcony were fine! Breakfast was decent, but coffee could be better. One night, we found a random bug in the bathroom, a bit gross. Good times!

Oh, let me tell you about the dining scene at Florasol! The breakfast buffet was a feast of fresh goodies, an excellent way to kickstart my day. Plus, the themed dinners had me exploring local Madeiran cuisine with good dishes, made my taste buds dance. A big shoutout to the barman's chill vibes.

But not all that glitters is gold, right? The absence of air conditioning left the room feeling like a sauna during the day. And let's be real, I missed a bit of pizzazz in the evening entertainment. Could've used a few more lively options.

The hotel staff were exceptional nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic start to the beginning of a long, hot day.

The hotel is close to the bus stops (city ones as well as aerobus), public beatch around 7 min working, supermarkets 3-5 min, cafes and restaurants nearby. There was a perfect breakfast in the hotel as well as the service in the dining room. If the room is on the 2d floor then you'd get a really spacious backony in comparison with the upper floors. Most people at the reception are very nice, kind and helpful! Small kitchen in the room with plates and glasses + microwave +coffee machine and + are to the point!

Hotel bus to the city center is not available on Suturday and Sundays. Internet is only on the 4th floor and signal is good only at dining room area. Thta's really not comfortable if you need to use it in the evenings while people having their dinners at than time. Time to time facility stuff forgets to provide you with foot towel and you are to remimd about it.
